Before we discuss proposals, contracts, or agreements… we need to get to know each other. This gives us both a chance to decide if our working styles are compatible.
We then discuss your current website and what it is or isn’t doing for you. Why are you deciding to make a change now? And what are you hoping to get from that change?
By the end of the this intro discussion I will have a better idea of what you need, what your budget constraints are, and when we need to get there.
Many clients decide to take our introduction discussion to another level. This is where I dive even deeper into your business with a series of questions meant to draw out what is really going on. This would be an opportunity for me to propose innovative ideas that could help your business run smoother, gain more customers, and offer guidance in the long term.
The intro discussion does cover these things, but in the premium option you will have a report from myself detailing where your website and business can, should, and could go. Including action steps to take it there.
If you decide to go this route and hire me, the £100 will be deducted from your final design costs.
Now that we have decided that we can work together and I understand your business, we can get into the detail. This is completely tailored to your business and if I’ve done my job correctly you will feel as if I am in your head and really know what you are trying to do.
My proposals are normally presented in 3 options. Giving you a chance to decide how much you want to spend and how much you want to accomplish. Nothing is set in stone, and the proposals are always open to discussion and tweaking.
Below represents a typical 3 tiered proposal. This will incorporate 50-60% of websites I build, and should only be used as a guide. Your website proposal will be individual to you.

After we have discussed the details of your proposal you can decide to work with me, or walk away.
You will normally have 14 days to decide whether we will work together, and projects normally kick off between 2-6 weeks of proposal acceptance.
I ask for 50/50 payments. 50% at acceptance (before starting) and 50% upon completion.
Depending on your personal preference, I like to work with weekly updates. This keeps us from going in directions that weren’t anticipated.
Normally design time is 2-3 weeks. Development time can vary more depending on what is included in the site. Typically 2-6 weeks.
Sign-off will happen over a period of a week or more. This is to test functionality, insure it meets expectations and perform any minor changes.
Once this is done, we will move your site to live. This is normally a 24 hour process.
Then the following 2 weeks the site will be monitored closely for any issues.
Ongoing support is provided for the first month, guaranteed. Further maintenance and support can be discussed separately.
